Why? Just leave it there, it will deplete in 10-14 days at max.

Well, you see, my tank is infected with ich due to an outbreak probably caused by using the same net for each tank, and some of the fish have ich, so i treated the tank at half dose (since there are scaleless fish in it that have ich) and I forgot to remove the carbon first. It removes the medication, so I needed to remove it, but I got it out so thanks anyway!

No, just a week. Does it matter?

well after a week or two its not active. if you treated it and waited prob already started to suck out the meds if its still active.

Quick Cure and Melafix, for fin rot and slime on my elephant nose. I'm going to donate the elephant nose though, because it'll grow too big for the cave in my tank. When it's healthy, I will.

If it's a Classic series canister, the C pad should just be a black, thinpad at the very top of hte stack, just under the top spacer.
Unplug filter, close valves, have a towel handy, unlatch & pull top, spacer, pad - reassemble, open valves, plug in. After a couple of good burps, all should be back to normal.
