I'm currently cycling my new 6.6 bookshelf fish tank. - currently nothing inside but 2 fake plants and a fake rock with gravel.
marineland 100 penguin biowheel, 50W visitherm stealth heater.
Parameters at 6.0 Ph ; 0 Nitrates; 0 Nitrite; .25 Ammonia (light yellowish with little green ); 81 Degrees
What is suggested for alot of stock but in this small little tank? Open to all suggestions.

I had an african dwarf frog, a betta, some snails and lots of plants in my 5 gallon.
If you get the frog they're compatible with many things.
A small school of tetras or 2 male guppies or shrimp and snails are some ideas.
Size when full grown, if the fish is active how much room does it need and compatability are the things you need to look at. There's nowhere to hide in a small tank so the fish have to get along to keep the stress level down.

Thanks for the response. The African Dwarf Frog sounds cool. What do they usually eat?

Licorice and sparkling gouramis will work but think first before you consider keeping the former. The former prefers live foods and though not as delicate as the chocolate gouramis, they can still be tricky to keep in a small tank.
