Holy crap what settings do you have your camera on? Macro something? Great pics...I would either say he is starting to fall apart because that is what sea stars do when they start dying OR maybe he is letting go of a foot in order to reproduce a whole other star. Hope it's not bad.
lol yah super macro. New camera! =D I'm thinking he maybe damaged it on the heater maybe? He hangs out near it, or on it sometimes. So maybe he couldn't get off fast enough?
