I need to paint the inside and out of my new fibreglass set up. What specific type of paint should I be looking for?

Krylon Fusion.

For the inside I would look into a marine grade paint- likely to be an epoxy based.

if you're painting the outside back of the tank, i would recommend any acrylic latex enamel brush-on. i use plasti-kote 'odds n ends' enamel as a single layer of it is opaque (other paints you can see paint streaks if any light comes through)
and being acrylic latex, it could pretty much peel off in one piece if you wanted to do another color.

Ah, latex based, good idea. I was looking for a spray paint to try to avoid any streaking. Do they even make spray on latex paints?

Edit: Yes

i'm not sure if they do, but spray painting is messy, requires several coats, and takes some elbow grease with a razor blade to remove from the tank.
i've done both spray and brush-on. well, i sprayed once and never did it again.

i used a roller and it only took one coat.
