the ammonia is probably effecting him. keep doing 50% water changes until the ammoina is under 0.25

ok i have been doing water changes like crazy gettin this ammonia down i got a insert for my filter that takes out ammonia ,and i finally have a pic of the red/bloody looking tail on my pleco. i feel bad after lookin at this pic but i havne no clue how my ammo got so high, maybe becaus ei got rid of my 2 big balas and i kept feeding normally so their share would be wastered? heres the pic pretty nasty

that just looks sooooooooo bad. other than lots of water changes to remove all ammonia, i don't know what to say about that. possibly bacterial infection/hemorrhagic septicimia?
