I dose liquid calcium and feed fresh veggis and snail snacks.....What do you think it could be?

Those are some healthy looking shells, overall. is it just the one with the erosion spot?

No they all have tiny pits on the spiral part...

that is pretty normal, as long as the erosion does't have deep "holes" its not harmful

yeah... makes mine look like a train wreck... their healthy appearance aside, don't snails' shells grow at the opening? The pitting on the spiral probably happened months ago. no?

the only time those little "pits" of erosion are an issue is if they are developing into pinholes that go all the way through. The snail will usually seal any small holes/fissures/etc during normal growth. All of my snails have some small degree of erosion on the tightest part of spiral. This is probably a cumulative effect of time. I would not be too concerned as you are dosing calcium and feeding them appropriately.

Thanks ..It's just that i see thesepicsof snails with smooth shiny perfect shells how do you accomplish that?
