purple alage ?

Ok I have this purple alage that is growing on my rocks and snails.

I take the turkey baster and blow it off is this a type of cyno.

It is a fuzzy purple and if I blow it off it comes off very easy.

Yup that's a cyano. Is your tank reef, if it isn't it's pretty easy to get rid of it. Overfeeding your fidh will stimulate it.

I feed them a small amount once a day.

should I feed them every 2 days or 3 days?

This is a 12 gallon tank by the way.

I have had the tank running for 3 months now.

I replaced the stock pump with a mj 900 and I have a korilo nano in there too.

I will snap a pic when the mh comes on.

How are your phosphate levels coming on. Any luck with the Rowaphos?

I am having a hard time seeing any cyano in your system. In the last pic I think I see what you are talking about. With the age of your system it is something to be expected. If this is your nano it looks like you have enough flow but may be experiencing some dead spots. Have you tried moving around your PH's at all?

my phosphates have the same reading after a week 2.0 the rowaphose is in there in the 1st chamber under the filter floss. PINA lol if I can get it down and the purple crap gone I would be doing good. Heres a differnt pic maybe easier to see.

I have the korilo nano on the other side of the tank from the return on the false wall.
