Ok, I've had it with this guy, if my LFS will take him,,he's going on Monday. He is terrorizing my whole tank. I have re-arranged my tank several times over the past few weeks but to no avail. I know that over crowding also curbs aggression sometimes but right now I only have one filter on the tank so I don't want to overload it. And yes, I read up on this fish b4 I bought it but guess I under estimated the aggression. This guy is gone unless someone has some stellar advice. Not looking for criticism, just doing some b****ing!

Probably just this guys personality. You've tried but it sounds like nothing is going to change. I dont know if there is anything else for you to do when your other fish are in danger...

He's about 4". He's in a 55 with 8 other cichlids, all about the same size.

you can try taking him out for 2 weeks and reintroducing him.

Yes, I've heard of that as well, but my only other tank is a 5G (too small) and there are fish in there now. I'm sure my lfs will take him, but I'm working all weekend so I hope the tank mates are ok til Monday.

Yeah, your fish just has a bad attitude haha. My male Kenyi is probably the most passive one in my tank. He doesn't chase anyone. My yellow lab on the other hand....

That's a male,,females are blue.

no i highly suggest you get a small rubbermaid before its too late

yeah man kenyi are mean sobs i had one for 3weeks in my tank till my buddy got his cycled up and ready. He tried to attack fish that were big enough to eat him in one bite lol. But he would peck at him. I had to get a divider it was so bad. Now hes in my buddie tank with like 5 other kenyis and hes not mean anymore lol
