Well I'm finally starting my last two years of school, where I get the fun of three hours homework every night, exams practically every week and at the end my major exams which are also university entrance exams called the HSC's. So I've had to cut down on my tanks, from seven tanks to just three, I'm hoping that this will also give me more time to concentrate on my marine tank, and give it the attention it will require as the livestock goes in.

So a full shot of the "fishroom" which used to be a lot fuller with a lot more tanks.

My Fairytale tank, I've always wanted to do this, and since I had all the decorations on hand, which came with a second hand tank I bought ages ago, I figured why not. The plants on the right are lucky bamboo. The fish in here are all the tropical fish I had, they'll just be left to live a good life and eventually die, I won't be restocking it or adding to the schools, as this tank will have to be shut down in two years when I start uni, whats left then will be sold off. The tank is a standard 205l/55g four foot tank

The current stock is
1 x angelfish
9 x serpae tetras
4 x black widow tetra
2 x silver tetras (both over 8 years old)
3 x kuhli loaches
2 x bristlenose
1 x bronze cory
3 x calico platy
1 x guppy
2 x white cloud mountain minnow

The AquaStart 500 holds my freshwater plants and my last Betta, a cellophane betta called Zadkiel, it holds 65 litres or 17g. The plants are java moss, java fern, wisteria and a peace lily.

At the moment my marine tank is empty, but I'll begin stocking it sometime next week with snails and hopefully my first coral, the longterm plans for this is for a reef tank filled with corals, the stocking plan is 3 x pajama cardinals, 2 x clown fish and one other fish which has yet to be decided. The CUC will consist solely of snails because I don't want anything that main harm the corals. Plans for corals include hammer coral, frog spawn coral, mushrooms, sun coral and leather corals.

Then of course no marine tank is complete without its Quarantine tank, which at the moment is awaiting the cardinals, which I should be getting soon. This is a standard 20g Tall, or 75l two foot tank.

And although it's not a fish tank, my hermit crabs also live down here, the tanks a three foot reptile tank and it houses four hermits
