where to get live rock from?

hello im looking into converting one of my tropical tanks in to a marine tank .
The help i need is finding some where that sells about 30 kg (66 lb aprox) that in not realy high priced the web sites i have found the price is some what high (well over £250 = $496 for 30 kg) can any one tell me where i can get it cheeper or is this price about right??? any help will be greatfully receved

At one LFS I bought the most of my live rock for £ 10 per kilogram. That one had no crevices or hitchikers on it (apart from a small Chaetomorpha).

Another LFS had live rock for £ 14.99 / kg and was very beautifully shaped and came with a tubeworm.

Maybe you'll find something on ebay from people who sell their tanks in pieces.
 
check local classifieds, but depending on location your sometimes bound by shipping costs
