I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 X 15 W = 30 W of light.
At some point, I plan to do a DIY conversion of my light to CF bulbs of a higher wattage, but in the meantime.....
Is there much/any benefit to replacing the crap flourescent light bulbs that came in my lights with aquarium flourescents of a specific "K" rating to help plants grow, (such as http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+12768&pcatid=12768) but still at the same low wattage. I just wonder if it is worth it.
