Thought you might like this picture. Its from my sons brackish tank. We switched the gravel over to aragonite sand and everything seems to be looking better.

Heres the whole tank.

I know.... the mono's need to go

Its my 8 year old sons tank actually. He will sit in front of it for hours and watch the fish. He even helps with the up-keep on it. Been too scared to let him feed it alone though.

Everyone keeps telling me they get too big and need full marine eventually. They are pretty aggressive at feeding time but only with each other.

Yep, he told grandma he wanted a fish tank and they came home with that. She said she thought she was going to get him a 10 gallon tank but he insisted on the 55

Shes a fish lover. She has only done freshwater but loves the saltwater tanks we have. I am thinking about getting her a nano set-up for her birthday this year.
