What qualities do everyone want?? I know when I vote, but I can't seem to put it in words...:grinyes:

IMO it should be a good technical shot (in focus, good contrast, good composition) and also be of an interesting or cool fish. It helps if it's an unusual angle or a close up shot too.

Just whatever is most pleasing to my eye. The overall health of the tank/fish/etc...plays a very important role, as well.

the fish health, focus and clarity, how the tank looks and the subject are what i use to decide. but mostly the pic has to stand out and make me say yeah, that's an awesome pic!
