Try:

If I need to look at pictures of certain cichlid...I search them in Jeff Rapps website. If I can't find them, I search them in fishprofiles. If I still can't find them, I search the notcatfish.
There are many website you can look into that have cichlids information. Sometimes I even search The Cichlid Room Companion, Cichlid Research, and Taxon.

alright, those are the pics I've seen, there is a current discussion on them at aquamojo and peeps there say that in reality they are much more colorful, I'm th inking of ordering a pair, but I wanna see how colorful they are first
I don't know about red fin convicts. I have never seen that on person, but there are many colorful fish. You probably will find something at Jeff. I sure did :)

I have a breeding pair of the honduran red-fin (blue convict)
its the same fish as the common convict but the body is a bright sky blue with the black bars. the blue is similar to the blue on the blue dempsey, and it has a red/orange tail which is how its dubbed the red-fin. However they do not grow nearly as large as even todays smaller convicts. mine are an adult pair and the male is 4" the female is half that. I saw Jeff Rapps large adults up close and in person and they werent much larger than mine. 1/2" tops. They are not aggressive at all. i have mine in a 90 gallon tank with 3 juvenile Gold sajica and a single female geophagus steindachneri with some clown loaches and everything is peachy ;) on a side note I am considering parting with my pair, since they eagerly breed like your average convict so i do not expect them to be new or "exotic" much longer so the thrill is fading. If your local your more then welcomed to come see mine.
I won't mind taking that off your hands, Aikido, but if they do breed like rabbits...no way. That will be scary...actually. Or I can just push all those fry to the LFS.

I'm not local, but your description pleases me, I love the convict pair I have now, and wouldn't mind a similar pair with more colors...I have no problems with them breeding constantly
