I've looked around quite a bit, and I haven't been able to find a polished, aluminum reflector for my strip light. (I wanted to give the light levels a modest boost...) So, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction?
Thanks in Advance, :)

just try some aluminum foil. Single tube flourescents don't need much ventilation so I would try that first. If worse comes to worse and you are still unhappy with it, I would suggest buying one.

You can order just the reflectors from AH Supply (http://www.ahsupply.com/mcart/). Click on the kit that corresponds to the size you're looking for (36w=17.5", 55w=22", 96w=34.5" -- $16, $16, or $24 respectively). A pair of 55s will do the trick for 48". The single sizes are 4" wide by 2" tall and should retrofit into the AGA hoods.
These things actually function as advertised:
If you're currently using a broad-flat-top reflector, or no reflector at all, you won't believe the difference. Uses no electricity, doesn't burn out, produces no heat…
Order the shades first.

I would put alluminum foil under them. I did that with both of my strip lights and everything is fine.

Thanks for the tip Carpguy!
After looking into that reflector I've decided It's what I want to get, It'll give my low light tank a nice boost of light to ensure the plants grow nicely.
Again, thanks
