Morning when you wake up? Afternoon when you come home from work/school? After dinner when the actinics are only on? Before you go to bed when you have the moonlights on?
My personal favorite is at night with the moonlights...it is so serene and peacefull watching the blue lights penetrate through the water and see the shadows of the fish as the ones who are "late nighters" swim around peacefully around the tank in near darkness and shimmer in flashes of cool blue light. Very soothing feeling to have before going off to rest and ultimately sleep. Just puts you in a good and relaxed mood.

all the time as much as i can.
Does this apply to SW only?:( I used to keep SW and would find it relaxing to watch at night. Same applies to FW.:)

Mine has to be in the evening simply because most of my softies close up when the tank lights are out and aren't back to full "bloom" until I get home from work.

ditto
As often as possible, but also straight after a water change with the inside/outside glass cleaned when all looking perky, its just a fantastic thing to look at and before you know it you've been sat watching for quite a while......

In the morning when the water is clear cuz the goby hasn't gone to work yet! My corals look best at the end of the day, though!

Evening around 9:00pm when all the lights are still on and everything is still blooming.
Late evening around 11:00 when just the actinics are on and half the current has ceased.
2:00am when I have to use a flashlight to see all the lps sweepers out, stinging the crap out of each other and causing necrosis.
Morning around 9:00am when the sun comes in from the doorwalls to wake up the toadstool and the bta even before the actinics come on.
And in the times in between, I'm searching ebay for equipment I can buy at a discount.:headbang2:
I uh, don't have much of a life, do I?
After the lights first come on and the fish are having breakfast.

Every time I walk past mine!! It takes me ages to get to the kitchen from the lounge!!!
I admit it, I even pick up the night flashlight when I go by at night. I'm bad. Really, really bad.

In the evening when I come home from work. Grab a beer and a chair, turn out all the lights except for the tank's, and relax.

All the time!! lol, but more specifically at feeding time, before the lights go out, then I wait for my shrimp to come out at night  lol. I also have a blue LED light I use to sneak a peak when all seems calm, to see whats really going on! :)
