what is some thing that will naturally increase the ph by about 1 without adding chems?

Hard to raise it by a specified amount, but the most common thing would be crsuhed coral, drop a small bag of it in your filter.

1.0 is a lot. If you mean 0,1, then active photosynthesis will do, as long as the water's only lightly buffered.
Any process that removes dissolved CO2 from the water raises the pH. Sometimes stronger surface turbulence helps outgas this slow-diffusing molecule, by bringing water charged with CO2 into contact with the air, and pH rises.

and yes its 1 and not .1
i have a ph of 6
and i want it to be higher
