Hi I would like to ask if anyone has ever had a cleaner shrimp which walks over ur coral and kill it after several days???My true octos jus melt off.It has been opening but after few days saw the shrimp walking on top of it.Now i wasted Sg$20 getting that coral which is quite expensive in my homeland. For US dollars think it is around 35 bucks.

I doubt the cleaner killed it by walking on top of it. They'll simply withdraw if irritated. I'd suspect something else was the cause of death.

As Grins said. Unless it was staying right on it for 3-5 days forcing it to stay retracted. The shrimp won't hurt it.

I've got to agree with the others. My cleaner shrimp walk over all of my corals (and anemone) and I haven't lost any. Are sure there isn't a nudi on it?

I didn't find a nudi on it.All my other corals are still alive.I got 2 bubble corals,1 favia,1 cluster acro,1staghorn acro frag,1 3 headed blasto and 1 digi frag. The frogspawn suddenly died.I still have the bones of the frogspawn.

There are some aggressive corals on that list. Might have been chemical warfare.

OMG u might be right. Then which one u think might have killed it???Bubble corals is 4 inches away. The nearest is the acro and favia.

The nearest corals are both agressive...Especially the favia, more so than the acro...could be the answer to your question...

And I've seen the sweepers on a bubble get more than 4" too.
