Alright, could someone explain to me how Ick works? I had an outbreak in my tank, I don't have a QT tank so i in turn gave the fish back to my LFS. My tank still has Ick though does it not? Will it eventually go away if there are no fish for it to feed on? Are there any treatments out there that won't hurt my corals and other inverts?

The ich cycle can be broken if you allow a tank to go fallow yes. But there appear to be more than one fish in your display..including one that will quickly outgrow it.

How long does in need to go empty? And should I add any medication to make sure it is gone?
I have no fish in there now. I had just forgotten to update my gimmick. Sorry for the confusion.
