Hi everyone.

I'm new here and this is post #1.

I have a 75gal tank with 20lbs. live rock, 20lbs live sand. I run a protein skimmer, 2 power heads, a Magnum 250 w/bio-wheel and a Penguin 330 which has 2 small bio-wheels. The tank is 4 months old and has good water parameters. Nitrates are usually in the 20's. I do a water change of 7-10 gal per week with RO/DI water.
Tank currently contains:
1 Lemonpeel angel
1 Long-nosed hawk
1 Mandarin
1 Large yellow tang
1 Blue-green chromis
1 Three stripe damsel
1 Coral banded shrimp
1 Mythrax crab
1 common sea urchin
3 Nassarius snails
2 Astrea snails
1 Trochus snail

My questions are:
Do you think adding an oscillarus clown is too much?
There are little hard white critters on the glass and rock. They are shaped like a rams' horn and don't move. Easily scaped off. What are they? They are about 1/16 of an inch or smaller.

Any help is appreciated.

They are spirobid worms, harmless filter feeders similar to feather dusters. I'm surprised your yellow tang has been OK with the lemonpeel. Is the lemonpeel a much smaller size? Keep an eye on it showing aggression and slapping it's tail. You could fit an ocellaris in yes but be aware that you might have some aggression with the damsel towards it. How are you keeping up with pods for the dragonette? In such a new tank and no refugium I'd worry about it getting enough to eat.
 
The mandarin was a huge concern of mine as well. I purchased all the fish from a friend that had to lose 1 of his 2 tanks because of moving. All of the fish cost $45, so I couldn't pass it up.
The mandarin was already eating Spectrum when I purchased him and still does everyday. I actually had pods at one time, but the Mandarin made them disappear. He is nice and chubby.
The yellow tang is much larger than the lemonpeel and there aren't any problems. Both consistently graze on green, brown or red algae that I clip on the glass. The yellow tang is absolutely beautiful. His body, not including fins is the size of a softball and he only swishes his tail at his reflection.
Yours looks quite nice as well, what I can see from your avatar.

I dont see any reason why a yellow tang would have any problems with a lemonpeel angel...A yellow tang should be able to hold its own against any possible agression and should not get stressed out by it...and visa-versa...

I've been told that they are so similiar in color that the tang will often act aggressively towards the lemonpeel.
 
my yellow tang is pretty aggressive.....he shares the tank with an orange shoulder and powder blue tang which both are a good bit larger but the yellow is very much the boss of the tank :)
