After having more than a few people tell me that I would most likely have to wait a few days for my Tahitian Black Sand settle, I was kind of dreading the task of starting my tank set up.
Well after a quick rinse and about 2 hours of letting my water sit I plugged in my FX5. I let it run an hour then checked my canister, rinsed the pads (which really had nothing on them), pluggind it back in, and took the photo below.
I am simply amazed at how fast it is clearing up.
Now let's see how the cycling goes. Wish me luck.
