i just got a call back from this lady saying she wants to sell me her tank after i emailed her. is it a good deal?

Hard to tell from the pictures. I guess good deal depends on what you want to get out of the tank but it looks really scratched up to me.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay $200 for that...maybe $100, at the most and only if I just had to have it...which I don't.

is there a way to resurface acrylic for relativly cheap? havent bought it yet

The only solutions I've heard of involve sanding down the surface to remove a layer of the acrylic...which can't be good for something that holds 75 gallons of water.

i'd offer $150, but only to use as a utility tank (breeding, grow out, etc.) not as a display tank. while getting rid of the scratches will not affect the strength of the tank, it's a lot of work. sanding, sanding, sanding, buffing, more sanding.

yea. i saw it and it had scratches and dirt and cob webs and didnt look like it could hold water. (small crack in lower corner) i went out and bought an all glass aqu. for 20 bucks more. thanks for the advice
