I got my cherry shrimp, there tiny, and my snails are very tiny, how does one clean the subtrate? I would hate to suck anything up, but the shrimp are so cute and tiny I can not see them. what do you do?

Get the smallest gravel vac you can.
Put a stocking over the end.
Move slowly with the vac so shrimp have time to move out of the way. I wouldn't try to gravel vac more than one general area at a time during each water change. Do it in one spot one week and another spot the next week.

thank you, I have a very small gravel vac, was going to toss it as I never used it. yay now I have use for it LOL! thanks for the advice.
