lucky bamboo in an open top tank?

I actually had the listing of how many bamboos bring what luck, like luck in money, love, health, etc...
If I ever find it I'll post it.
it works, as long as the leaves are out of the water, been many threads on this already.
green water, do you have filtration for this little guy
Wasn't green water, algae on glass. Was dosing ferts heavily to get the grass to fill in. I had a elite 5 on it at that time. Just broke the tank down again, but was using the air driven whisper 5 more recently. Also used the 7.5w hydor heater.
