I can't even imagine the overwhelming feelings of loss and horror the victims' families (whether killed or wounded) must feel right now, and always will. Even those just sitting in Cole Hall (who were physically unscathed) will likely have a lifetime of anguish to work through. My thoughts go out to all of them.
As an NIU grad, it was really disheartening to watch Nightline last night, and hear my alma mater included with Columbine and Virgina Tech. Northern is really a great school, and it's unfortunate that its moment in the national spotlight had to be for something so horrible.
