I'm relatively new to aquariums...have only had two. My latest is a 54 gal. freshwater. I have a Marineland C-360 canister filter. Where do you recommend I get vinyl tubing? I would prefer to order online as that seems to be cheaper, but if anyone knows good supply stores in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, I'll go pick it up personally. Thanks all!

What size? Lowes has it at a dollar per foot, though their 3/4" seems to be crushed. If you need 3/4 go to Home Depot, they have a 10' roll for about $15. If nothing good there, Doctors Foster and Smith have it, here is a link

is the tubing measured on the inside diameter or the outside? I think it might be 3/4". I always thought I had to buy tank supplies from aquarium suppliers...but i guess that's what they want you to think : - )

Inside Diameter, or ID. Tank supplies from the LFS will cost you dearly. Example, a small XP1 costs about $85, You can build a decent canister filter for $60. I won't even mention light bulbs.

Cory Keeper, thanks so much for your help. I will definitely go to the home improvement stores in my area for the tubing.
