my peacock bass has a wierd looking hole in its head. it looks nothing like the pictures of other fish with HITH so i dont know what it is. it looks as though someone has taken a skewer and speared it between the eyes. it is a perfect hole about 1mm in diameter and 2mm deep.the fish is acting completely normal. the 4 bass are about 9" long and the one with the hole is the smallest being about 8".
tank size: 6x2x2
water parameters: perfect for the species
water clarity:excellent
filtration: eheim 2260 canister
feed type: cut up fish fillets, chopped mulies, prawns and the occasional live goldfish or gambusia
tankmates: 1 australian barramundi 10" , 1 common plec 8" , 2 yabbies which nothing seems to want to eat and 2 silver sharks 10" a piece.
anyone have any idea what the problem is and if its treatable?
thanks
