Val issues

yes absolutley, but they do have some requirements

- the root ball must be above the substrate. when planting cut the roots in half, make a hole in the substrate, pop a root tab in (they are heavy root feeders), cover up the root ball, then give them a light tug until the root ball is sightly above the substrate

- lighting doesn't seem too important with them so .85wpg should be ok they will just be slow growing

- they however seem to appreciate co2 for a low light plant so keep that going

- my experience is that they also appreciate micrnutrients that have iron content

out of all that the most important is how you plant, the roots will rot if not planted correctly

Okay, I am getting new lights in about a month. Ferts I can also get in a month w/ lights.

Petco sells root tabs I believe. I have just replanted the plants, but with the white crown above the sand.

Any other tips?

GAH! one of my Vals are no longer straight up! And I can't seem to bury them without covering the crown, and the little seedlings stick out of the ground.

Any advice?
