I have a 60gal. tank and was wondering which protein skimmer and powerhead to buy. I've looked into the koralia powerheads and red sea skimmer, are these product a good investment? any product recommended for a 60gal?

also I'm planning to buy some partially cured LR and wonder whats the best type of brush to use when brushing the die off.

<<Koralia powerheads are a good product to buy. The Redsea skimmers are not worth the money. For a skimmer, i would recomend something like an ASM Mini-G....Coralife Super Skimmer ( not fantastic, but they do work)....Aquamedia Turboflotor...>>

<<Any nylon brush, like a tooth brush or a nail brush would be fine for this>>

Thanks reefscape. For the Koralia, is 2 #2 koralia good enough?

I would go with a #3 and a #2 personaly...i think 2 number 2's, at 600 will not be enough...

I have 2 #3s in a 55g, I'd go that route in a 60g. I also agree with Reef about avoiding the Red Sea skimmer.
