We just moved out rubber mouth to our main tank. In the quarantine tank he was very inactive, in the main tank he is very active, why the change?

How are both tanks decorated? What size is the quarantine tank? Of course, the smaller the tank and the lesser the decorations, the fish will obviously become inactive apparently not happy in its environment or simply stressed from the move.

I have had one for almost a year and he is just now coming out more when the lights are on. He may simply feel more comfortable in the new tank assuming he has more hiding places he can quickly dash to if he feels threatened.
If he is dashing to the surface for air or frantically banging about the tank I'd suggest that you have a water quality problem of some sort. I know that on a few occasions when I have accidentally overdosed CO2 that the pleco and otos in my tank react the quickest and most drastically.
