I've seen the term drip acclimation several times. Can someone explain exactly what this process is?

I like this one..
the same method for Marine as freshwater fishes.
basically it is a method to slowly get your new fish acclimated to your water.. the same thing can happen if you move from one location to a location where the water is different that the previous location.

Both seem to be good methods, just about picking one that's right for you. I like the one posted by SanguineApple the best personally.

Got it! That describes exactly what I expected but I didn't know the mechanics of it (like how to control the flow to 1-3 drips a second)
Thanks!
