I've seen people ask questions from time to time about hanging their lighting and canopies above their tanks. In the past, on non-aquarium projects, I have used hardware that made height adjustments really easy... and the quality and finish was fantastic... I just got an announcement from the manufacturer that they had launched a new website, and thought I'd share, since I think this hardware would be great for a lot of aquarium canopy projects...

Nice looking stuff here. Any recommendations? I'm not sure I know enough about rigging options to choose. I guess I can use their "How To Select" page, but that will have to be research for a later time.

pully's could be nice... in the past, I have used their hardware to hang some heavy lighting... and the griplock gliders (and some of the connectors) have these little push buttons on them, so when you push down on the buttons, it releases the grip, allowing you to slide your fixture up and down on the cable. this was a 2 person job with the large fixtures I was working with, but you could probably do it with 2 hands on something aquarium sized... so for instance, you could probably hang 1 light strip or canopy on 2 cables... and be able to depress both buttons and slide it up or down without a problem. they have so many hardware options to choose from, including NICE electric cables, both spiral twisted and straight, and the ceiling mounts and anchors.. it's a nice system. they're also great on the phone, if you need help choosing the right fittings.

What can I expect to pay for a simple pulley system?
Do they distribute their products to other vendors I could buy from?
Sorry if it's all covered on the website. I haven't reviewed it all yet.
