Are there any kind of bottom feeders for a Oscar tank like cory cats or anything?

What size is the tank? Plecos are your best bet but we need the tank size first.

a good ol' gravel vac should do the trick...

I know that a 75 is minimum for a Oscar. But boy is he a slob! He feeds Right out of your hand and sometimes tries to take a finger with it. He is a really good fish. I laugh at him all night long. He just does some crazy stuff.

i disagree i think a briselnose pleco would be good with the o in the 75.

An increase in frequency of water changes to cope with the wastes will help if you wish to try plecos.:)

A BN plec could be a snack, easily.

^ depends how big the Oscar is and if you can get a sufficiently large plec

Striped Raphaels are good clean up fish for messy oscars. I have 2 in my oscar tank.

I have 6 BN plecos in a separate tank from my oscar...my oscar could easily swallow them. They are not quite full grown; neither is the oscar. I keep pictus cats in my oscar tank, but its a 150gal.

I have a 7" pleco with a 11" O in a 45G with no probs. General rule of thumb is 45g to one oscar. Seeing that the pleco doesn't swim in the oscar's space I find it fine.

I had pictus cats in my O tank, 75g tank too. I have a 14" channel cat in there too. I have a RTCxTSN hybrid about to move into the 75g too, so I'll let you know how that works out.

And BTW, these are grow out tanks. :)

the bn's must be no wheres near full grown then and oscars and other large fish end up with pictus caught in their throat
