quick question about leg lights

i was told i don't need the legs attached to my coralife light.Can i really just take off the legs and prop it on the edge (the black trim)under a glass canopy?i light was super bright before the legs and now it not all that bright as most the light escapes into the room

Yes you can just set it on glass tops with no problem.

ok thanks....they were a pain to put on anyways.My plants were all pearling very nicely before i got the legs good to know i don't need them

thats how mine is if you can see the pic i ordered some legs but cant use them on a glass canopy they are for open top ...
