I asked this question in the DIY section and got a reply but need a little more information. I thought asking in the General Section might get more replies. I wanted to know if there was a paint that could be used on freshwater decorations. I purchased a resin cave that appeared to be a deep natural looking brown, only to have it turn horribly bright once in the aquarium. Since my Ottos love it I wanted to buy another one and paint it a darker color and switch them. J double R said I could use Krylon Fusion Paint. I went into the Krylon website, and found Krylon Fusion Spray paint that is recommended for plastic, PVC, hard vinyl, resin "and more". I'm assuming this is the right paint? I don't want to find out the hard way that I am wrong. Anyone else ever paint over aquarium decorations? Thanks in advance.

I just read a post about someone painting their spraybars with that paint. The recomendation is to allow it to cure for 2 - 3 days after painting. Should be fine.

Krylon Fusion Paint for plastic, PVC, hard vinyl and resin is the right stuff? I just want to make sure there isn't more than one variety and screw up.
