Anything unused black backgrounds out there that fit a 55, or can be easily trimmed to fit one? Looking for something cheap...

black poster board available from your local walmart or similar store works great. You can also buy a roll of freezer paper and paint it black.

Waterproof/weatherproof upholstery fabric also looks good as a background and comes in many colors.
I've recently used a sheet of aluminum flashing as a background, spray painted with a dark blue color. It doesn't crease and stays straight unlike the pain in the @ss paper backgrounds (for those who already have their tanks set up, if I had the chance before everything was in place I would've just painted the back).
