I turned my lights on yesterday after 3 days of lights off (except for feeding) after an overnight algae bloom that was so dense you couldn't see the driftwood in the middle of the tank. It has cleared up a lot, but when I was going to bed last night & feeding the fish, I noticed 2 of my 3 anubias had pre-flower extensions coming up. Is this normal, or are they getting special treatment? They've gone from green to white this morning, and in a day or two they look like they'll flower.

If it's normal, eh, it's pretty. If they've been enjoying a heavily planted 75g with 2 wpg, then I'm happy :p:

To get them to flower put them under intense lighting, phosphate levels should be raised to around 2 ppm.
