Let me hear your thoughts on my tank. There are some real and fake elements. I would love to use live plants but they eat them quicker than I can replace them. The wood on the left side of the pics is actually a small tree stump that we found at the lake. All of the rock is native Missouri straight out of the lakes.

I dig it. I prefer live plants, but as you mentioned sometimes it is not to be. I really like that your rocks and tree stump are from the lake. The only thing I don't love is the background, but I'm fussy like that.

Nice JDs

Very nice!

That's a great piece of driftwood, and that Jewel cichlid looks primed for breeding.

When i get back into setting up the other tanks i will be pairing off some of my cichlids with others of their own kind. With this being a community tank I don't want a lot of fighting the only pair in the tank are the convicts and they cant do the damage the larger fish can. Right now the nicaranguese and the green terror are being awful chummy with each other. Thanks for the comment.

Nice tank. I like how you organize your cds as well. But you shouldn't put them on the tank. Not aesthetically pleasing. :)
