1) Can I use an acrylic scrubber on glass? (cause I have been)
2) I am starting to get snail eggs and random other stuff that seems to be better scraped off than scrubbed.. should i just use a razor blade or are any of those multi-tools like the Wizard any good?
thanks!
I use the metal algae scraper for my glass tank. You can use the plastic acrylic one, but it doesn't do as good as a job on a glass tank. What you can NOT do is use the metal/glass scraper on acrylic, you will scratch it up.
I guess you could use a razor blade.. but why not just buy the metal scraper made for glass?
I use a large razor blade. It shouldn't be used in salt water due to the handle on it but when it ruins the handle I'll just get another one.

I got a 3/8" wooden dowel. I blobbed some hot melt glue on the end of the dowel. I took a standard single edged razor blade and hot melted it onto the dowel end at about a 40 degree angle.
Works great!
It lasts about 6 months before the rot gets to it. At that point I just heat up the razor blade with a cigarette lighter and grabbing it with pliers I extract it. I quickly jack in a new one. Good for another 6 months. Every now and then I touch it up with the hot melt glue gun again.
To extend the life I always rinse it off with hot water then immediately dry off the end with a Kleenex or paper towel, otherwise you will only get about 2 months out of a blade.
I'm the same way about rinsing my razor. It is funny though, it rattles a bit at times due to salt trapped inside the handle.

Credit card takes everything off even coraline
Butters would probably nab it and start charging fresh flown in seaweed.
