Heres what my 125 gallon (long) currently has:

15 Rummy Nose
6 Harlequin Rasbora
2 Red Snakeskin Discus 5" each
1 12" Rope Fish
2 Mature Black Mollies
3 Almost mature angelfish
1 Blue Betta
2 Mature German Blue Rams
1 6" Gold Nugget L-18
1 3" Snowball L-102
1 4" Columbian Zebra L-129

The LFS next to my house has a royal 6" in nice condition for $25.00
For that size and price im thinking about jumping all over it.
I do weekly 25-50% water changes with vacuuming the sand. Parameters are always 0's across the board except nitrates my go to 5 on the rare occasion.
What do you think? Should i get it?

Hmmm..I do know the Panaque nigrolineatus can reach 12 inches at most and a lot of plecos are often territorial. It sounds very tricky to me. You have three plecos to whom it will eventually rival territories for.

not to mention the rope fish that likes to hang out in the dens of the pleco's

heres what the tank looks like now, lots of hiding spaces, and i have more rocks to make more if need be

A 12-inch pleco though seems tricky there. Those rocks look like they could easily be knocked out, not to mention the fact that pleco could easily overpower your other plecos, should it try marking territories. If you have time to get another tank for that pleco, then feel free to get the royal pleco and grow it.:)

By the way, that's a nice tank!

Hey Sminker Nice Royal!

Do you have any idea what the specific ID is on your royal? There are quite a few varieties. I saw one exactly like him at the lfs. I was thinking about picking him up but wanted some more info. I didn't see anything exactly like him on planet catfish. The tail is rather unique looking.
