maracide by mardel correct dosage?

Hi,

I bought maracide by mardel to treat ick and it said at the back 2 capfuls per 10 gal....what does it mean by 2 capfuls? is it the bottle cap? it seems way too much for 10 gal....please correct me if im wrong....and is there a better medication for ick? cos i really want my trimac and fahaka puffer to recover from this thanx alot

I would personally use salt and increased temperature, but if you are going to use a medication, make sure it is one specifically safe for scaleless fish. Puffers are very sensitive to medications IME, so I would be hesitant to use anything not marketed as safe specifically for scaleless.

Otherwise, you should follow the directions, and continue treating for at least 3 weeks following the last visible sign of ich.
