WHAT DO YOU USE (IF ANYTHING) FOR YOUR FLOATING PLANTS ?

Just curious if more people use or don't use floating plants in their tanks, and if they do, what type do you use ? Thanx.

I use hornwort. Looks nice (if it isn't getting blown about the tank by my filter current and getting tangled up with other plants) and I think it makes the fish feel more secure.

I need something my power filters will not bounce them up and down thru the water. any sugestions? I got frogbit, and water lettuce ( a few) but the current at the top is heavy and they go up and down, up and down!

Only floating plants I have are baby Indian Ferns, probably about 100 of them. Since I use a sponge filter in that tank, I don't have problems with them getting blown around the tank, but I can see where that would happen with a HOB.

I let a strand of hornwort grow reaaaally long to have the excess part of the plant "float" on the top. It looks nice.
