my canister filter

i have run diluted bleach through my fluval 204.i have been running tap water with conditioner for a whole day now and was wondering if i could set it up for my aquarium now?

ok well the water in the bucket doesn't smell like bleach but i don't know abot the inside of the canister

I would check inside the canister before use just to be safe.

Why did you run bleach thru it?

it was really dirty and used as i bought it from craigslist.i first got rid of all the stains w/vinegar.Then ran bleach to kill anything else that might be living in there
