Advice On Cleaning Old Tank

any suggestions out there on how to clean a 10 years + tank
its 40 gallons.......i was advised on bleech and also vinigar............but not sure if they r a safe method........dont wanna end up killin my goldfish with left over residue

Bleach works fine if you dillute it in water at about 1 cap per gallon. So get a 5g bucket and put a few ounces of bleach in it. Bleach will kill just about anything.

Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.

im having a card time getin this crud off...............its like the stuff thats left on packages from price tags.........similar to that gunk

glass seem to be clean now
but i still got this brownish film on this one corner on the silcon sealeant

I would use viniger for cleaning and just generally wiping out a tank before putting fish in it.
