I just received this in my e-mail this morning after posting on Craigslist:
I have a 12g Aquapod which I replaced the crappy filtration pump with a MaxiJet-900 it also has a Viper K2 150w MH clipon light which cost me 175 alone
Comes with original hood but I wasnt using it with the metal halide light. The hood has a fan, 2 power compact lights, and moon lighting for night time.
I could sell the setup for $150 if your interested.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
1) How does the Aquapod compare to the Nano Cube? I know the Nano Cube has really thick, durable glass (2006 models and up).
2) Is this metal halide light a good thing, or not so necessary? What would that additional light do for my aquarium?
3) Is it reasonable for me to ask to buy the tank + hood without the halide light (unless this is a good thing) for $80? If not, what is a more reasonable offer? I don't want to go too high, but I don't want to get scammed or duped either.
Thanks again - I really appreciate all the advice I've been getting here.
Jen
