Welcome to the March 2008 Photo Of The Month competition.
Voting is now open to everybody, one vote only per person.
There will be a limited 14 days voting period, followed by the selection of a winner with the highest number of votes from AquariaCentral.com . If in the instance of more than one winner is selected (same number of votes), a secondary 7 days voting would be held to determine the winner.
The winner of the previous months POTM contest will not be eligible to enter another Photo of the Month Contest for the next three months, to ensure fairness and opportunity for other participants to win.

These are stunning... I had to vote for #17, though, because it made me lol. "That's it guys, I'm really gonna do it this time, I'm almost there... I'm gonna jump!"
For the record, though, this was the toughest photo comp I've seen yet... I'd use all of these as my wallpaper. Hey, now there's a thought... how about the winner gets put up as a downloadable wallpaper? Just a thought...

It was between #4 and #8 for me....all great photos though the SW themes seem to be getting repetitive for me.

this sucks...why are they combined? saltwater seems to be getting washed out in this race (no pun intended)

I don't know... I had a hard time deciding between a few ones... and some of the saltwaters really standout (number 1 for example).
Though, yeah, I liked them separated, too... more to vote on. I like-a da vote :)

I think 18 would look best in a frame, but I'm not sure I should vote for it if it has been altered.

yeah..didn't the rules say that wasn't allowed? I'm a little hesitant since not even shadows or hints of anything else in the tank are in the photo..:banher::)

8 and 15 are magazine-quality.. I can't wait to hear what kind of cam was used (need to get a new one... although, I think my fishy pics may still suck... definitely a user problem ;) )

There are some great photos here, but I can't believe #18 hasn't gotten more votes. It's simple, yet so profound. I could see it on a book cover.

i went with 22 because of the colors....but this is definitely such a good idea! there were many great pics!
I like no. 8. It's focused on a guppy and its elegant fins really add up a nice touch to the photo.:)

IMO, 24 was unique whereas most of the others were just yawn common pics
