so do they look some what better? its hard to do plants with the cichlids. thought I would show you a few of my tanks.

I know they look dark, its the combination of my camera and the yellow lights LOL!

Thank you MG, nothing beats all of you guys tanks !! , but I am trying :) this has become a very expensive hobby :lol:

there is something very satisfying about adding live plants isn't there (speaking as an algae & java fern cultivator lol)

yes, my tanks look much bertter and the brown algae is replaced with green, but not much. and my fish seem happier, is that possible?
It dont look 2 dark, and the tanks look great with the light.

The cory cats love them. they all five sleep in the pot in one tank, and the other tank lives the bristlenose. I have no hiding spots or caves yet so these worked well. I am still looking for some natural looking caves.

my dog Bufford, he gets fancied up every Easter. he is getting old, maybe I won't this year. we shall see.:grinyes:
