FO is Fish Only
FOWLR is Fish Only With Live Rock

WHat you keep is of significance when you are determining your equipment. Lighting is one of the more significant factors.

Are you wanting you use a sump or what type of filtration?

Hey man, I have just started in the hobby but from everyone I have talked to and everything I have read the better way to go is a sump and refugium. I have a 75gal that is cycling as we speak. As far as everything you need that is a though one for me to answer. I know a what I want to get but everyone seems to be different as far as what they use to do the same thing.

I'll try my best.

Tank
Stand
Sump
Refugium
Plumbing
Heater/s
Return pump
Lights/Refugium lights
Thermometer
Skimmer
Power heads
Live sand (LS)
Live rock (LR)

Now what brand of each you use is up to you but I would read everything you can get your hands on and talk to as many people as you can before buying anything.

I hope this helps. Like I said I'm new to so I would think some of the other reefers that know allot more then me should post soon enough.

Good luck and can't wait to see what you come up with.
