I've seen plenty of these gouramis and demand for them seems high because in a few weeks, I no longer see them in tanks. I was informed by the lfs employees these fish are often bought by customers for their ponds.:D

Question: How did you come into this beautiful gourami? From a breeder? Regular LFS?

Glad I could introduce it to you! :)

There are a lot of rare/unusual/uncommon fish out there. I stopped by petsmart after the gym today and saw a 'peacock gudgeon' for $10. I had never heard or seen of that fish till today.

Great fish!

Thank you! He's still a baby... can't wait till he's big.

very nice

Thanks MG!

Thank you, around here in so.cal these fish seem to be seasonal (they're in season right now) but aren't too hard to find.

This particular one I got at 8" for $25, which is usually what the 3"ers go for.
It wasn't at a regular LFS either, it's a small LFS inside of a chinese food market :) The lady that owns it is suuuper nice! She already recognizes me hahah

=kimmiscHe's cute... looks like he's smiling.

Yeah he's good lookin :) Guess he is happy in his home.

Beautiful fish!

Thank you! I'll update as he grows.

I've wanted to shoot a video of him shredding lettuce but never get around to it. I'll try this weekend.
