The last time my Bangaiis produced eggs was on the 13th January 2008. I remember it well because I was cooking my dad a birthday meal! This time daddy Bangaii managed to hold the eggs until I could see little fins flapping around. Sadly that was as far as we got and I haven't seen any babies. But it's a new first as I've never seen him hold them to "fin" stage before.

Nearly seven weeks to the day and they're at it again!!!

Mrs Bangaii is keeping a close eye on him. If he looks like he's trying to juggle them around too much, she chases him. Fingers crossed we get a stage further this time so that Titch can have some play mates!!!

Whether it's accident or not I don't know but he has swallowed them on many an occassion. This time I guessed they were about to get frisky. Daddy was eating for England and had put on a load of weight (looked pregnant himself) and mummy wouldn't leave him alone. She does a sort of twitchy dance right by him when she's ready to pop, which is pretty fun to watch. I would have liked to have got them into the love shack by now, but after catching PJ, Tim and I did a major re-scape on the tank and all tankmates are a bit cheesed off from it (although these two are obviously not that cheesed off!!). There's no point in me putting the trap in there now, because daddy won't go after food whilst he's got a mouthful.!
 
They're still in there at the moment. I'm surprised that actually got any, what with redoing the rock work the other day and today I've been drilling away hanging the new lights and he's still there holding onto them.
 
congrats cpd, been waitin for mum and pops to get busy makin some lil brothers and sisters for titch, he's gotta be gettin lonely all by himself:wall:, anyway keep up the good work and keep us posted
